These are the little kiddos I get to babysit!

This picture was from just the other day. Bubba wasn't feeling that well (he woke up with a cold that morning) and when he woke up from his nap he cried for a long time while I tried to distract him by talking about doggies and trucks and anything that might cheer him up, so his normal big smile is sadly lacking in this picture.

While Bubba mostly just totters around and grins, his Sissy is a bit more energetic. She and I play games, color with crayons, dance around singing Do-Re-Me, or sit at the piano while she flips through the hymnal and then bangs out her own version of the song she chooses.

Or better yet, we take rides in the baby bathtub! Or rather, I get the pleasure of whirling them around the house until I'm exhausted while they sit and squeal with excitement. They absolutely love it. (Bubba looks half asleep in this picture 'cause he had just woken up)

Kip

Guess what!?

Yesterday, as I began my 18th year of life, over in Colorado a little baby boy began his first day of life! Yay! The Ludy's new baby was born on my 17th birthday! I'm so glad that he made it past "big meanie night" to be born on my birthday! :D :D

Granny To The Rescue Once Again!!! (This time to protect us against frowns)

Okay, I thought y'all might like a video of Granny Reccu!! After all, at least a few of you are her grandchildren! I have quite a few pictures and videos of her, and I thought this was a good one, and not that embarassing for her. In this video we are playing a board game called Quelf, and our happy Granny is playing her card. (We weren't allowed to know what she was doing.)

Once again she keeps us all entertained! You can't help but smile right along with her. :D

(sorry it's sideways again.)

Attack Of The Giant Zucchini

Everyone needs a two foot zucchini, right?! Somehow we always end up with one of these monsters, but this one is the biggest yet. Can anyone guess what we were eating for days?
Actually, what we make when we get one of these is.............Pumpkin Pie! Only we eliminate the pumpin and replace it with zucchini. The result? A pie that tastes just like pumpkin pie and looks only slightly paler. Crazy, but it is actually quite good.

Humphrey

Okay, you finally get to see a picture of little Humphrey. I never remembered to take a picture of him, so this is a little late. He is still a handsome little furball, even though he is getting big now. The first picture was actually taken when I was away from home, as I would never let the cat in my room. But my family apparently thought it would be funny to surprise me with this picture in the camera. If I had been home, little humph would have been learning how to fly (out the window.) Anyway, the picure ended up being the best one we had of him, so here it is.

Awesome!

Check this out! We picked this apple off a tree here in town, and it appears to be albino! It is completely white! It is so cool! I wonder what the inside looks like.........should I cut it open?
I thought it looked pretty cool with the squash all around it.
This beats any of Buck's relatives by far. : )

Bro's 1st Benefit of Eating Like a Horse

Okay, so you wanted to hear about my Bro!!! (why?)

I don't know what you wanted to hear about him, and I thought I would spare you (and him) any embarrassing 2nd grade stories and just give you a little video I took of him a while back. Please excuse the sideways-ness (heehee), I was not at all thinking about a blog when I took this video, just having fun with my Bro. (The background music wasn't planned either! :)

Be sure to pause the ipod so that you can hear it.
